Business & Technology Projects¶
Multi-Site Branch Interconnect & VoIP Infrastructure¶
Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture
2022 – present | Khorfakkan Typing, Khorfakkan (2 Branches)
Challenge: Establishing reliable, secure communication and data sharing between two Businessmen Services Center branches without static public IP addresses, while maintaining VoIP call quality and centralized file access across locations.
Solution: Architected and deployed site-to-site infrastructure using dynamic IP VPN solutions and virtualization:
- Dynamic IP VPN Tunneling: Configured secure site-to-site connectivity using dynamic DNS and VPN technologies (WireGaurd) eliminating need for expensive static IP leases
- Proxmox VE Cluster: Deployed virtualized environment hosting domain controllers, file servers, and VoIP infrastructure across both locations
- Inter-Branch VoIP System: Implemented IP-PBX (GrandStream) enabling free internal calls between branches and centralized phone system management
- Centralized File Repository: Created shared network storage accessible from both locations with automatic synchronization and backup
- Active Directory Integration: Unified authentication system allowing staff to access resources seamlessly across both branches with single sign-on
- Failover & Redundancy: Designed backup connectivity paths ensuring 99% uptime even during primary internet outages
- Cost Optimization: Eliminated inter-branch call costs and expensive MPLS lines through internet-based VPN
Technologies Used: Proxmox VE, WireGaurd, GrandStream, Debian, Active Directory, Samba File Sharing, Tailscale, VLAN Configuration
Impact:
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Inter-Branch Calls | 100% cost reduction (free internal VoIP) |
| Infrastructure Costs | 70% savings vs commercial MPLS/static IP solutions |
| File Access Speed | LAN-like performance across locations |
| System Uptime | 99.2% availability with failover |
| Scalability | Easy to add future branches to the network |
Custom Invoicing System for Tasheel Center¶
Self-Developed Internal Business System
2013 – 2022 | Tasheel Center, Khorfakkan, UAE
Challenge: Commercial invoicing solutions lacked flexibility for UAE government services center operations, with complex pricing structures, multi-branch requirements, and Arabic/English bilingual needs.
Solution: Designed and developed custom self-hosted invoicing system tailored to Businessmen Services Center operations:

- Service Catalog Management: Dynamic pricing for 20+ government services (visa types, PRO services, document processing)
- Bilingual Interface: Full Arabic and English support for staff and customer-facing outputs
- Financial Tracking: Real-time revenue monitoring, expense categorization, and profitability analysis by branch/service line
- Government Integration: Links to payment gateways and receipt generation aligned with MOHRE/SEDD requirements
- Reporting & Analytics: Automated daily/weekly/monthly financial reports for management decision-making
- Record Keeping: Digital archiving of invoices and transaction history for audit compliance
Technologies Used: PHP, MySQL, Apache, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
Impact:
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Processing Time | 60% reduction |
| Monthly Costs | Zero SaaS fees (vs. commercial alternatives) |
| Decision Making | Real-time data for pricing strategies |
| Scalability | Architecture supports future expansion |
